Fresh single tied to first day cover by very scarce "Oyster Bay, N.Y./Oct 27/1922" duplex, sent to Rev. H.K. Robinson with handwritten address, Oyster Bay Bank corner advertising return; Oyster Bay was Roosevelt's home and the stamp was scheduled to be issued there, the scarcity of this marking is because the postmaster had been given few stamps and he therefore refused to honor any requests for first day covers except those who came in person to the post office.
