Queen Victoria 1d black, plate 6, almost 4 margins, tied by black Maltese Cross cancel on a May 8, 1841 folded letter from Bolton to London. The letter was originally submitted as paid in cash ("1" in red crayon), then canceled and the 1d black added, with a TOO LATE postmark on the reverse. SG 2, £750. F-VF.(SCV $750).
