Coarse brown paper cover sent to James P Boyce, Greenville CH, SC, a prominent Baptist minister and one of the founders and first president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Greenville in 1859. Period notation on the face of the cover concerning original contents "Pricing Conf Bonds in January 1864." Manuscript notation at upper right "Charge Glass Box #68".
