Interesting WW1 era cover with Scott 424 (one cent postage?) tied by mute N.Y. Sta. D. cancel to Adana, Turkey and rerouted to Geneva Switzerland. Turkey Scott 271 also tied by bilingual "ADANA 2-7-15" cancel, fancy geometric star and crescent with native writing Ottoman Empire (Turkey) cancel applied. Swiss/German "UBERPRUFT" (checked) censor and Austrian-Hungary censor tape on backflap reading "EXECUTED on the BASIS of MARTIAL LAW" printed translation. 3 Swiss Geneve receiving and transit cancels on front and back. Cover opened both ends. Fine condition. (Est $75-100)
