5 "picture" boxes holding over 1000 envelopes all identified by a knowledgeable collector by Scott number from early China, Taiwan, PRC, and many of the provinces. Many envelopes have one stamp, others may have several but it appears to be all used, maybe common, maybe not so common. Not much in the Imperial era, but goes into the 1990's. A tough lot to evaluate due to having to go through every envelope. Some mixed condition as typical in accumulations. (Est $250-350)
