Late in 1916, a paper of poor quality (GC Paper) was put in use as a wartime conservation measure. It was used for the 10¢ value only during November and December of that year. This lot has a double pane of 25 with plate number and large letters "GC" printed in bottom selvage. A second page holds several booklet stamps (unused, use) on GC paper notating the scarcity of unused booklet stamps. F-VF. (Est $800-1000)
